Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the 3rd International Congress of Pedagogical Research (ICOPR 2026), which will be held online on 21-22 November 2026 in collaboration with Heriot-Watt University.

Rapid developments in artificial intelligence are transforming educational practices, research processes, and institutional structures while raising important pedagogical, ethical, and social questions. In response to these developments, the main theme of ICOPR 2026 is “Artificial Intelligence in Education.”

The congress aims to provide an international academic platform for researchers, educators, practitioners, and graduate students to share current research, exchange perspectives, and discuss the opportunities, challenges, and future implications of artificial intelligence in education. Particular attention will be given to AI-supported teaching and learning, assessment, educational research, teacher education, and the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence.

ICOPR 2026 will be held fully online. Participants will present their research synchronously in scheduled virtual sessions.

Following evaluation by the Scientific Committee, accepted contributions may be included in the congress proceedings or considered for other publication opportunities. Selected papers may also be invited for submission to supporting academic journals. Any journal submission will be subject to the respective journal’s standard editorial and independent peer-review procedures, and an invitation to submit does not guarantee publication.
